Removal: tidy when we leave
A felled tree becomes a surprisingly large pile of brash and trunk.
We deal with it straight away: the brash is chipped in our chipper or driven away, and the trunk is cut into log lengths for you or lifted onto the crane lorry.
You choose how much is to go and how much you want to keep.
Three ways to get rid of it
Chipping on site: the brash is run through the chipper and you can use the chippings as mulch in flower beds and under shrubs, or we take them with us.
It is the quickest way and the one that takes the least space on the lorry.
Removal: everything is loaded and driven away, brash and trunk. With the crane lorry the trunk sections are lifted straight onto the flatbed, so nothing has to be carried across the plot.
Firewood for you: the trunk is cut to the length you want and stacked where you say. Many people want the wood but not the brash, and that works just as well.
Removal and RUT
Removal of brash and trunk connected to tree felling or pruning on your plot gives a RUT deduction (a Swedish tax relief on labour costs for household services) on the labour cost.
We split the invoice so that the deduction is correct.
Questions about tree removal
Can I keep the wood?
Yes. We cut the trunk to the length you want, usually half a metre, and put it where you want it. You do the splitting yourself, or we take the trunk with us.
Do you take the brash from pruning too?
Yes, everything that comes from the work we do. We do not, however, collect brash that was already lying there, unless we have agreed on it in the quotation.
What else we do
The jobs often go together: the tree comes down, the stump is ground and the brash leaves with us the same day.
We come out and look at the tree
The home visit costs nothing and you get a fixed price with the RUT tax deduction already applied. We normally reply within one working day.
