We know when a tree should stay
An arborist is trained in how trees grow, heal and fail, and can judge what a tree needs: felling, pruning or nothing at all.
We take trees down when it is the right measure, and we say so when it is not.
Get to know usWhat we do
From the first visit to a tidy plot. We choose the method according to the site: rope and harness when space is tight, a crane lorry when the tree is large.
- Tree felling Trees that are in the way, block the light or have become a risk are taken down safely, using rope and harness or a crane lorry.
- Sectional felling The tree is taken down from the top, piece by piece, when it stands too close to houses, cables or neighbours to be felled in one piece.
- Tree felling with a crane lorry Large and hard-to-reach trees are lifted away in sections with a crane. Quick, controlled, and without churning up the ground.
- Tree pruning Maintenance pruning, crown reduction, safety pruning and fruit tree pruning, by arborists who understand tree biology.
- Stump grinding The stump is ground down below ground level so that you can sow grass or plant on the same spot.
- Waste removal Brash, branches and trunks are taken with us when we leave, or chipped on site. You choose how tidy it should be.
The crane reaches the trees others cannot
A dead tree will not bear a climber, and a large tree next to the facade must not drop a single branch.
Then the crane lifts the tree away in sections, over the roof and straight down onto the flatbed, without churning up the lawn.

What does a home visit cost?
Nothing. We come out, look at the tree and the site, and give you a fixed price. You then decide whether you want to go ahead.
Do I get the RUT deduction?
Yes, on tree felling, pruning, stump grinding and removal on your own plot. RUT is a Swedish tax relief on labour costs for household services. We deduct half the labour cost directly on the invoice and handle the application.
Are you insured?
Yes. Arboträd has liability insurance covering the work, and everyone who climbs works with rope and harness in accordance with current safety rules.
Do you take jobs for companies and municipalities?
Yes. Our clients include Trafikverket (the Swedish Transport Administration), Växjö municipality, Alvesta municipality, the Church of Sweden, the Catholic Church and several tenants' associations.
